Structura Engineering Inc. is proud to sponsor the Lakehead University Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race Team!

​

The Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race (GNCTR) is the largest and longest-running engineering design competition in North America. This event draws around 450 engineering students from over 20 Canadian universities for a 4-day annual competition. GNCTR 2025 will be hosted by Concordia University from January 22-25, 2025, in Montréal, Québec. Each competing team consists of approximately seven divisions: structural, concrete, mechanical, health and safety, spirit, logistics, and finance. These divisions provide students with the opportunity to apply engineering concepts to various aspects of the toboggan’s design, while also gaining valuable, industry-transferable skills.
